US Bank works with a series of clients beyond banks, and when we were approached to rewrite and redesign Club Carlson’s rewards strategy, our senior copywriter and I leapt at the chance to explore our creativity. (Sadly, we weren’t invited to stay at a Club Carlson for research.) We created a simple and elegant campaign that focused not only on their higher-end hotels, but also those for families looking to get away. U.S. Bank was blown away and immediately set up a meeting with Club Carlson, and asked us to speak to our creative on a conference call (a rarity in our industry). Club Carlson, too, was blown away, and implemented our campaign almost immediately.
